Argonne researchers have developed both open-source and commercial software tools and suites which are available to license.
The type of license depends on the technology, the type of organization seeking a license, and the intended use. Once an Argonne-developed software has been determined to be licensable, several types of agreements may be available:
- Commercial
- Academic and Non-Profit
- Government Use
- Option
Software Licensing Pathway
Please complete the Argonne Software License Request Form in its entirety. The form will be reviewed and subsequent license discussions can begin. Once the agreement is executed and associated payment is received, a link will be provided for you to download the software.
