Erika Glombicki, an Environment, Safety, and Health Coordinator, was instrumental in making sure that the Physics division as well as Building 203 were appropriately prepared for the DOE Enterprise Assessment. Her leadership efforts were essential to keeping the team organized and ready to meet the needs of the review team. During this process, Erika exemplified Argonne’s Core Values of Impact and Teamwork.

Guiliang Xu, an Assistant Chemist in the Chemical Sciences and Engineering division, is currently leading three programs that include research into sodium-ion batteries, lithium-sulfur batteries and solid-state batteries. His leadership attributes include skillful project management and execution, and novel solutions related to development of high-energy batteries with better long cycling life and safety performance.
Each month, the PSE Associate Laboratory Director and Division Directors review PSE Employees of the Month nominations and select recipients. All Argonne employees are eligible for nomination, including people within PSE and those who work with PSE. All PSE staff, postdocs and students are welcome to submit nominations.
