The Lee Teng summer internship program includes a cohort of outstanding undergraduate students working with mentors on research projects at Argonne or Fermilab. The internship provides academic grounding in accelerator physics and valuable hands-on research experience that can lead to successful careers in accelerator science and technology.

Previous Lee Teng Internship cohorts and projects

Participants have completed projects and delivered presentations of their work in the program since it began in 2008. Projects are selected from the numerous areas of ongoing research at Argonne and Fermilab related to accelerator physics and related technologies. These projects may involve operational accelerators or research and development (R&D) into future or speculative accelerators.
