Dr. Laurin-Kovitz is Associate Laboratory Director for Nuclear Technologies and National Security. She leads an organization that supports a secure and resilient society by advancing nuclear energy and delivering innovative, objective science- and engineering-based solutions to inform decision making.
Dan Carlson is the Directorate Operations Officer of Argonne National Laboratory’s Nuclear Technologies and National Security and Advanced Energy Technologies directorates.
Director, Supply Chain Research for NTNS and AET and Program Lead
Allison Bennett Irion serves on the senior leadership team for both the Advanced Energy Technologies (AET) and Nuclear Technologies and National Security (NTNS) directorates as the Director of Supply Chain Research. She develops and coordinates a lab-wide strategy to enhance Argonne’s supply chain impacts, bringing together analytical and experimental capabilities to address national security and clean energy challenges.
Kent Bostick is the deputy director of Argonne’s National Security Programs. He joined Argonne in 2012 after more than 20 years working in the Intelligence Community (IC) on national security issues related to foreign weapons development programs and the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction.
Division Director, Decision and Infrastructure Sciences
Dave Brannegan is the Director of Argonne National Laboratory’s Decision and Infrastructure Sciences division. He previously served as Director of Argonne’s Risk and Infrastructure Science Center. Dave has considerable program management, policy, and leadership experience in the non-profit, for-profit, and government sectors.
Dr. Julie Carrera serves as the Director of the Strategic Security Sciences Division at Argonne National Laboratory. She was previously the Deputy Director of the division. As director, Dr. Carrera leads a team devoted to developing and implementing practical approaches and technical solutions to address complex, enduring, and emerging threats to national and global security.
Chuck Kozlowski is Argonne’s Experimental Operations and Facilities (EOF) Division Director. The division supports engineering, design and experimental execution across Argonne National Laboratory and other laboratories within the complex. Throughout his career, Chuck has focused on providing world-class engineering and technical support to programmatic partners, ensuring safe, successful and efficient execution of experiments across Argonne’s portfolio.
Temitope Taiwo is the Director of Argonne’s Nuclear Science and Engineering Division. He has worked in the nuclear industry, research laboratory, and U.S. government in the areas of nuclear reactor design, methods development, and analysis. Dr. Taiwo is a Fellow of the American Nuclear Society and currently serves on its Board of Directors.
Dr. Mark A. Williamson is the Division Director of the Chemical and Fuel Cycle Technologies Division at Argonne National Laboratory. He leads Argonne’s nuclear chemical engineering team with research and development activities in used nuclear fuel recycling, fuel fabrication, and safeguards for next-generation nuclear energy systems. He also oversees radioisotope generation and separation systems for future application in the medical and industrial sectors.
