December 2022 PSE Employee of the Month — Operations category
- Jeremy Kropf (CSE) has provided high quality and timely results to multiple programs for the CSE catalysis and fuel cell groups. Recently, he conducted a series of X-ray spectroscopy characterization experiments on catalysts for a fast-approaching stakeholder milestone. His quick work, collaboration and adaptability reflect Argonne’s Core Values of Impact and Teamwork.
December 2022 PSE Employees of the Month — Programmatic category
- Ben Blomberg, Kenneth Bunnell, Arnold Germain, Tony Krupa, Joseph Landl and Eric Letcher (PHY) greatly contributed to the installation and commissioning of the new AMIS (ATLAS Material Irradiation Station) beamline, which is beyond their regular ATLAS operations duties. This work involved the reconfiguration of the beamline leading to its successful commissioning. During this process, the team demonstrated Teamwork, Impact, and Safety.
Each month, the PSE Associate Laboratory Director and Division Directors review PSE Employees of the Month nominations and select recipients. All Argonne employees are eligible for nomination, including people within PSE and those who work with PSE. All PSE staff, postdocs and students are welcome to submit nominations.
