In recent years the Mechanical Support Group has participated in the construction of the ATLAS Tile Calorimeter, as well as detectors for the MINOS and NOvA experiments.

For ATLAS, the group was responsible for construction of a large fraction of the extended barrel tile hadron calorimeter.

For MINOS, we designed and fabricated the production equipment used to fabricate modules, and then installed this equipment at factories at the University of Minnesota and Caltech.

For NOvA, we were extensively involved in NOvA since the beginning, and took a leading role in PVC mixture development, extrusion development, adhesive development and design and fabrication of machinery for constructing the detector.
